REFER-A-FRIEND TERMS OF USE
As a participant in the Refer-a-Friend Program (“Program”) (both as a “Referrer” or “Referee”), you agree that you are subject to Noblr’s Terms and Conditions and Noblr’s Privacy Policy, as well as the following additional Noblr Refer-a-Friend Terms of Use:
QUALIFIED REFERRAL
A “Qualified Referral” is defined as a Noblr quote completed over the web by a person (a “Referee”) who has never previously completed a Noblr quote, does not reside in the same household as someone who has previously completed a Noblr quote and arrives to the Noblr website (“noblr.com”) by clicking a Refer-a-Friend Program referral link from another eligible individual (“Referrer”). At this time, quotes initiated over the phone do not qualify. Each Referrer is limited to one Qualified Referral for each Referee; in other words, additional/repeat quotes completed by a Referee are not counted as additional Qualified Referrals. The Referrer shall not advertise or participate in advertising Noblr trademarked terms, including any derivations, variations or misspellings thereof, for search or content-based campaigns on any website. Anyone who advertises or participates in such advertisement shall be permanently disqualified from the Program. Any Referrer whose referral link is published or promoted on a Facebook Page (e.g., Business, Public Figure, etc.) without prior written consent from Noblr will be disqualified. If you would like to publish or promote a referral code on a Facebook Page, please contact us at marketing@noblr.com to seek approval.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligibility for Referrers is limited to individuals only. Noblr’s Refer-a-Friend Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation. Employees of Noblr and their immediate families, or its agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, parent companies, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to be Referrers or Referees. For the purposes of these Terms of Use, “immediate families” means parents, siblings, spouse or children, regardless of where they reside.
Participants in the Refer-A-Friend Program are strictly prohibited from engaging in fraud, misrepresentation, and/or illegal acts. In order to be eligible to participate in the Refer-A-Friend Program, Referrers and/or Referees must provide a valid email address and may be subject to additional identity verification and/or fraud mitigation procedures. Noblr may engage third parties to provide identity verification and/or fraud mitigation services in relation to the Program and your participation in the Program serves as consent thereto. Noblr may at any time and in its sole discretion determine that a participant is not eligible to participate in the Program if it suspects fraudulent behavior or is unable to verify a participant’s identity or is unable to communicate with a participant through the email address provided.
The Referee and the Referrer cannot be the same person, on the same Noblr insurance policy, or members of a single household. The Referee must have a different email address, along with a different active driver’s license number, than the Referrer.
To be eligible to be a Referee, you must use an iPhone SE/6 or higher or an Android phone using Android version 4.1 and up and meet all Noblr underwriting guidelines. These underwriting guidelines include, but are not limited to, the following rules which require that you have:
- Your vehicle garaging address in a state where Noblr is licensed to sell auto insurance;
- A valid U.S. drivers license in good standing;
- A minimum of 7 years driving experience with limited violation/accident history;
- A vehicle not used for ride-sharing or delivery (e.g., Uber, Lyft); and
- A vehicle with a model year of 1991 or newer and a cost new less than $150,000.
THERE IS NO OBLIGATION TO PURCHASE INSURANCE BY PARTICIPATING IN THE REFER-A-FRIEND PROGRAM OR RECEIVING A GIFT CARD REWARD PAYMENT.
Rewards for Qualified Referrals will be paid in the form of Amazon gift cards for the amounts shown on the Referral Page (“www.noblr.com/referrals”). The reward will be emailed to the same email address provided on the Referral Page when the Referrer initially signs up for the Program. Rewards will be emailed as soon as possible but please allow for up to 4 weeks after the completion of a Qualified Referral. The maximum amount of rewards cannot exceed $100 per person per year. You are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.
ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION
As per Noblr’s Terms and Conditions, by using your email address to create a referral link you agree that Noblr may contact you via email or other communication related to the Refer-A-Friend Program. You may opt-out of electronic communications related to the Refer-A-Friend Program at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the electronic communication. Please note that should you choose to opt-out of electronic communications related to the Refer-A-Friend Program you will no longer be eligible to participate in the Refer-A-Friend Program.
NO SPAM
You must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is disallowed. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or “spam” under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your referral account and exclusion from the Program, including forfeiting any reward(s).
NO RELATIONSHIP FORMED
Participation in the Refer-A-Friend Program does not create any agency, partnership, employment relationship, joint venture, or any other relationship between the parties.
RIGHT TO DISCONTINUE USE
Noblr reserves the right to discontinue use of the Program, in its sole discretion, of any Referrer and/or Referee if the Referrer and/or Referee attempts to use the Program in a questionable manner, breaches any of these Terms of Use or is in violation of any Noblr policy, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, or any law, statute or governmental regulation.
RIGHT TO CANCEL PROGRAM OR CHANGE TERMS
Noblr reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel the Refer-a-Friend Program or to change these Terms of Use at any time in its sole discretion, by posting updated terms here. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at such time when Noblr cancels the Refer-a-Friend program.
